2008 Election FAIL 01

Description

Political promises are nothing more than a fig leaf to fool the new evil empire's "voters" into thinking that their votes matter.

It's truly beyond my comprehension that anyone is concerned about the possibility that the 2008 general election in the US might be stolen, or for that matter, cancelled.

Such actions are unnecessary, because just about all of the candidates who might dare to represent the public interest have already been weeded out.

No election is free unless:

1. Votes are by affidavit, on PAPER, with a PEN, so that every vote can be counted and recounted.

2. Winning an election requires a majority, not merely a plurality.

3. "None of the above" is on the ballot for every race, even when a candidate is unopposed. If "None of the above" wins, then new elections must be held that exclude all candidates who were on the previous ballot.

That's an interesting idea.  It would give a lot of people reason to go vote.

The 2008 primaries, with what went on in Michigan, should have had a firestorm of Democrat protests.  It didn't, which puzzled me because it was no less handed to someone than the previous presidential election has been argued to have been in Florida.  My wife, a Democrat, argued that this was only a primary so it didn't matter.
Wow!  Really?  So I run a bunch of candidates in a primary because it simply doesn't matter?  I guess though that may be right since in 2016 it appears that Sanders had no actual chance to unseat the previously crowned winner; just as she gave the crown to the annointed in 2008 (Obama had the best chance against Romney).
